Curriculum Map
Our curriculum map for the year can be found here.  This is subject to change depending on school events, snow days, etc.  Our weekly newsletter is the best way to know what we are learning each week.

Teaching Philosophy
I believe all students are capable of reaching their full potential, as long as they are nurtured and respected.  I believe students will be successful when they feel their teacher believes they can succeed in anything they do.  My goal is to build a classroom community where students feel loved, appreciated, challenged, nurtured, and respected.

Classroom Management

This year, LUA is focusing on positive behavior, and we are using LUA ROARS to help us!  Roars stands for Respect, Ownership, Attitude, Responsibility, and Sunnah.  This is the basis for our classroom management system.
In our room, we use a clip chart to monitor behavior.  This correlates with our Class Dojo points, which you can view at home!  Dojo points can be "cashed in" for classroom store items.
